Thanks for posting this, Rae!!! I just deleted a bunch of applications. I wasn’t even aware that I had authorized them.
Read this and thought of a convo I had with John. Facebook is removing restrictions on user data retention in applications. RWW’s got a good breakdown of just what that means.
Also, you should at least look at what apps you’ve authorized. I was amazed at how many I had authorized since I signed up compared to the number that I actively use these days. My list was ridiculous and I barely use FB.
